about Me
Iβm Ricardo Yslas β a coach who lives it.
Iβve been training for nearly two decades, but this journey started long before certifications and black belts.
It began as a skinny 12-year-old boy chasing strength β not just in muscle, but in myself.
By 15, I fell in love with lifting β inspired by the warriors I saw on the big screen, in war movies and action films.
Not for the flash, but for the fire. The discipline. The transformation.
And at that age, I was fortunate to have strong mentors β lifting coaches and leaders who saw something in me and poured into my potential.
They didnβt just teach me how to train β they showed me what it meant to lead, to commit, to rise.
That guidance lit a fire that has never left me.
Forged through years of swimming, through battles on the mat, and through every rep Iβve lifted since.
Today, Iβm a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a Certified Personal Trainer (CF-1, ACE), and the author of The Peach: A Guide to a Better Booty, a training guide for women designed to empower strength and suppleness from the inside out.
But more than all of that β Iβm here to help others return to their own power.
Whether youβre just beginning your fitness journey or chasing your next level, Iβm here to guide you to the strongest version of yourself β physically and mentally.
Because strength isnβt just built.
Itβs remembered.
And itβs yours to reclaim.
In addition to coaching, Iβm the author of The Keys: A Guide to a Flourishing Life β a book written for young men, but meant for anyone ready to live with deeper intention. Itβs about developing character, choosing discipline, and becoming the kind of person your future demands.
Strength isnβt just physical β itβs how you show up in the world.
This book reflects what I believe at my core:
True transformation starts from within.
Whether in the gym or in life, we donβt just train for muscle β we train for meaning.
